As I wrote earlier, I did get my new pup. He is…I think everything I could possibly want in a dog.
He is a sable, from working lines, with a ball drive that is out of this world. He’s also not stupid. I can tell he’s brighter than most, but the full extent of his intelligence has yet to be determined. He is six months old and for a pup of that age, has incredible focus. He’s calm, of moderate energy, not so hyper I can’t be around him or satisfy his need for exercise and fun. He also seems to know where to toilet, which is…A necessity.
Getting him was an adventure in itself. After that, Da and I, along with a friend, spent the rest of the day, about 8 hours, doing a major cleaning/organising/puppy proofing. We do this every few months. We are very lazy and things seem to get… Moved around quite a bit.
Working that hard took a lot out of me. I’m paying for it now. Well, the pup wants feeding, walking or attention, so I’m off for now.
